Covid 19 and the Parish Council
06

Due to the Covid 19 outbreak we were forbidden from holding any parish council meetings. The meeting that was due to happen this month, April, has been cancelled as we were awaiting further guidance from the government on what we could do.
On Saturday 4th April 2020 new laws were put in place changing how we hold our meetings during the lockdown. From May we are intending to have "remote meetings" ie video conferencing. More details will become available as soon as they are set in place.
The new guidelines state that the Annual Meetings cannot take place this year which means members that hold a position within the council keep that position now until May 2021 unless we wish to hold an Annual Meeting sooner after the lockdown has gone.
